It’s a team effort!
Years in the video production industry has taught us that shooting solo is asking for trouble! Weddings are a unique kind of production, they only happen once and you either capture what you need or you don’t. The benefits of shooting as a team are numerous. We can be in multiple places at once, whether its bride and groom preparations held in different locations, or simply the coverage of the ceremony, it means we have the opportunity to capture more footage and more angles of your big day. Plus, its always helpful to have another team member ready to double check audio levels, setup lights for the first dance, and even have an extra angle to capture those once off moments. Because there are no retakes during a wedding. And our experienced team ensures that everything goes as smooth as possible.
Being discreet is part of being professional
Our job is to document the day, not direct it. Being unobtrusive is a key element to our style of work. It evokes the most natural responses from participants and allows everyone to open up and enjoy the wedding ceremony. Rest assured that we don’t show up with tonnes of equipment to use on the day, our gear selections are tailored specifically for weddings, ensuring a small profile without interruptions. That said, we can’t be invisible. Your guests will see us on the day doing our work, but that’s just naturally expected by everyone during all wedding ceremonies. We choose not to use large film cameras, our cameras of choice are state of the art high end DSLR’s so people often think we’re just taking photos. Since we provide a professional service, we’ll never cause anyone to feel uncomfortable as we try our best to remain out of sight, and as it is said, out of mind.
Let there be light!
Yes, we bring with us a very small light kit on the day. Its generally only ever used, however, for the first dance and speeches, our lights are small and each has a dedicated light stand. We raise the light up high enough so not to shine in anyone’s eyes. Our lights allow us to create beautiful pools of light on the dance floor allowing for better illuminations during speeches which ultimately leads to a better video quality overall. We never ever use on camera lights, they shine in peoples faces and give that ‘deer in the headlights’ vibe to the footage. Our use of light is subtle but extremely effective. Light is an essential part of film making, without it, we can’t capture anything. It allows us to create compelling imagery and elevates the quality of your wedding video to another level.
Better safe then sorry
Absolutely! We backup our footage throughout the day to hard drives and change over to using fresh memory cards in the cameras. So all your footage is secure and backed up in two locations. One backup on our hard drives, and one on the cards we use in the cameras. The footage is sacred! Once we return to the office we backup again and store your precious wedding footage on our hard drive array and keep it safe for up to 3 years. Basically, if you ever need it again during this time simply give us a call.
Moving with the times
By default we don’t provide wedding films on DVD’s because DVD’s do not fully support HD resolutions, and all that beautiful detail would be lost burning the footage on to a DVD medium. That is why we encode all your videos to a playback friendly format and provide them on USB drive. This preserves the quality of our work while providing you with the best viewing experience. Just pop your USB into a device like a laptop, PC, PlayStation, Xbox or Blu-ray player and you get instant HD playback! However, on rare occasions you may require a DVD copy (perhaps for your parents or aunts and uncles) and we will happily create new copies for them upon request. Do keep in mind that the burning of DVD’s has an additional small cost, because it requires additional time and effort to create menus and chapters which will playback correctly on a DVD player.
Walking on thin ice
We love great music just as much as you do, but, can we use any track for your wedding film? The short answer sadly is ‘No’. This is because of the licensing restrictions for a particular artist’s work, which may have very high costs associated for usage. Usually we get fully licensed music from places like The Music Bed due to their range and the quality of the sound tracks they provide. Simply speak with us and we’ll do our best to cater for your taste of music, respectfully, if we aren’t able to do so, this will help us choose great songs that’s closely aligned with your taste of music.
We cover all of Ireland for our wedding shoots

Regarding travel: we do not charge for travel expenses within or just outside of Dublin. However, if we are required to travel to other parts of Ireland, Europe or the World, then we will add an additional fee as required by distance. Simply let us know the location of the venue and we’ll provide additional information accordingly. Please note that we are a VAT registered company and all prices are inclusive of VAT.
We’d Love to
We will only ever post your wedding video on our website and social media profiles provided you give us your consent. We always ask ahead of time if this is something you would be OK with. However we would love it if you allowed us to showcase your wonderful wedding! Being able to show off our work allows us to continually grow as a business and to keep doing what we love. Your valued consent is a huge favor to us, and we would really appreciate it.
